Life in June: Old places, new...uh, weddings

(Instagram feed @justnlstewart)

I disappeared back to Montana for 9 days the other week to spend some time with two of my favorite people and stand beside them as they wed each other.

Took a few cameras with me, but only took a few shots with my D800 and the 50mm, the only lens I brought. There wasn't much time for taking photos, so there's not much to show, but here are some highlights from the bachelor party, Bear World, and a brief stint in Utah.

It was nice to take a break from life and disappear to the mountains for a bit. But, as per usual, school calls. I'll be in the Missourian in a week, working on churning out better words than these. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Putting Another Semester in the Books

It was a long second semester of school. I burnt the candle at both ends and am still looking to recharge. Most of the work this semester came from my own personal work as classes drew me more into papers and books than other people's lives.

I produced a couple videos, one from Costa Rica which I finished just a few days ago. Once I figure out what exactly I'm doing with it, I'll post a link. It's the biggest piece of video work I've done yet and it was a horrifying task that still isn't completely finished, but close enough for the moment.

But enough of my wandering thoughts, here's a couple of shots from the past few months of life.
